The combination of tourist services proposed to you is a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you will benefit from all EU rights that apply to packages. The travel organizer (as defined by art. 32, co. 1, lett. i of the Tourism Code) is Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. based in Casalecchio di Reno (Bo), via del Lavoro n . 71, tel. 051.3547570, email address info@nbabasketballschool.it, pec address safh@legalmail.it who will be fully responsible for the proper execution of the package as a whole. In addition, as required by law, Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. has protection to refund your payments and, if transportation is included in the package, guarantee your repatriation should you become/become insolvent. This insolvency guarantee is provided by Vacanze Felici S.c.a.r.l., with registration n.1422. 1422. For more information on the fundamental rights of the seller-purchaser of travel packages (as defined by Article 32, co. 1(g) of the Tourism Code), the text of Directive (EU) 2015/2302 and the transposing Legislative Decree No. 62 of 21.5.2018 can be found at the following hyperlink.
Annex Basic rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302.
Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. – in its capacity as a tour operator i.e. an organizer who professionally combines and offers for sale tourist packages and services – organizes and provides – also on behalf of Third Parties (such as, Amateur Sports Associations, Professional Sports Companies, Commercial Companies) – tourist services for children and young people aged between 6 and 20 years, in seaside and/or mountain tourist resorts, within accommodation facilities suitable to host minors unaccompanied by their parents (hereinafter also “Camp”)
Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. – in its capacity as organizer of sporting events – organizes and provides – also on behalf of Third Parties (such as, Amateur Sports Associations, Professional Sports Companies, Commercial Companies) – daily and multi-day sporting events for children and young people aged between 6 and 20 years, in Italy and abroad, within sports facilities suitable to host minors unaccompanied by their parents (hereinafter also “Day Camp” and “Player Clinic”)
Camp, Day Camp and Player Clinic as a whole henceforth also “Events”
(A) THE MAIN FEATURES ON TOURISM AND SPORTS SERVICES OFFERED:
Modalities:
- – Player Clinics are sports events lasting about 90 minutes,
- – Day Camps are five-day sports events (Monday to Friday), in daytime form without overnight stay
- – Camps are weekly (7 days\6 nights or 8 days/7 nights depending on the specific program) or biweekly (14 days\13 nights or 15 days\14 nights depending on the specific program) sports vacations.
All these events take place at the places, time and in the manner indicated in the program.
Participants: participants are divided into groups according to age and ability as evaluated by the Technical Directorate.
Locations: the Camps are held in Lido degli Scacchi (FE) and in Piancavallo (PN). Player Clinics and Day Camps take place at the locations indicated in the program.
Periods and duration: Player Clinics take place in the spring and fall, Day Camps take place between June 12, 2023 and July 21, 2023, and Camps take place between Sunday, July 2, 2023 and Saturday, August 5, 2023
Event Start: participants must arrive at the place and time predetermined in the program and communicated by email from the organizing secretary in the days before the event starts. Normally the Camp runs from Sunday afternoon and ends the following Saturday, with departure before lunch. The Day Camp formula starts on the second day of Camp (Monday) and ends on the morning of the last day (Saturday).
Registration: The following are required for registration: a) completion of the online registration form, b) payment of the fee for tourist services c) medical certificate in case of sports camp, d) delivery of the summary of the “Registration Form” signed by the parent or guardian.
Transportation: for Player Clinic and Day Camp the transportation service is not provided. For Camp, transportation service to and from destinations is not included in the package and can be purchased separately during online registration or later (no later than 15 days before the departure date and while availability lasts) by sending an email to info@championscamp.it. The transportation service is confirmed by the organizer within 14 days of the departure date.
Receptive facilities: participants in the Camps stay in qualified hotel facilities equipped to carry out the recreational-sport activities or otherwise stay in qualified hotel facilities adjacent to the complexes where all the activities take place. Specifically:
- 1) by the sea – in Lido degli Scacchi they stay at the Florenz Village, a 3-star category, inside bungalows with a maximum of 4 beds equipped with air conditioning and private bathrooms inside. The village is located directly on the sea with a private beach and inside there is a swimming pool, a restaurant, several shops, has two outdoor basketball courts and several areas suitable for recreational-sport activities.
- 2) in the mountains – in Piancavallo they stay at the Stella Montis hotel, a 3-star category, within multiple rooms all with private bathrooms. The hotel has large indoor and outdoor safe spaces where they can spend unforgettable moments of recreation before and after training. The sports facility is located less than 100 meters from the hotel: a gymnasium that houses three basketball courts side by side of excellent quality.
Meals provided: packages offered for Camp participants include full board for the overnight formula and only lunch Monday through Friday for the day formula. At Player Clinics and Day Camps, meals are not provided and therefore are not included in the participation fee.
Communication with the participant: if at the Camps the participant has a cell phone in tow, it is taken into custody by the organization and handed over once a day, usually in the time slot between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., in order to be able to communicate with his or her family. If the participant does not have a cell phone in tow, the organization provides a few phones so that they can call their parents. The Camp leader is available 24 hours a day and can be contacted by the family for any needs. During Player Clinic and Day Camp, the cell phone is not taken into custody and the participant.
Services included in the total price: included are the services described in “The fee includes” listed on the individual description pages of Player Clinic, Day Camp and Camp. The fee does NOT include extras of a personal nature, any pharmaceutical expenses and, in general, anything not listed as included in “The fee includes.”
Staff: the Organizer ensures the presence of an adequate number of staff leaders in accordance with the number of participants
Conduct: any serious violation of Camp rules, as well as, but not limited to, damaging sports and receptive facilities, disrespect to instructors, people working in receptive facilities and other participants, disrespectful behavior both during the conduct of activities and during free time, will result in the immediate expulsion of the person concerned, who will have to repay any damages caused.
Program and Changes: Each Player Clinic, Day Camp and Camp has a specific program defined by the Organizational Management that includes educational, training and sports activities. The Organizational Management reserves the right to make changes to the program if special circumstances require it.
Language: services are provided in English and Italian.
(B) ORGANIZER’S BUSINESS NAME AND TELEPHONE AND E-MAIL ADDRESSES:
The organizer of the Events is the company Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. (P. Iva 03621361207), headquartered in Casalecchio di Reno (Bo), via del Lavoro n . 71, tel. 051.3547570, e-mail address info@nbabasketballschool.it, pec address safh@legalmail.it.
C) PRICE:
The price of each individual Event is expressly indicated on the reference page of the individual Player Clinic, Day Camp and/or Camp; this price is inclusive of all services listed and any fees\imposed. The price listed on the reference page of the individual Event chosen does not include the following services that may be additional depending on the Event chosen: 1) transportation to/from the location, 2) photographic services 3) laundry service, 4) cancellation policy. Some of these additional services can be purchased at the time of online registration. All costs can be found within the individual Event pages.
D) MODE OF PAYMENT:
1) Camp:after the online registration, a bank transfer corresponding to the deposit must be made within 2 working days (€250 if the reservation is for one week or €500 if the reservation is for two or more weeks) while the balance must be paid within 15 days before the beginning of the vacation. For those who register by February 28, 2023, there is an active promotion that allows, after paying the deposit that remains unchanged, to spread the remaining balance up to a maximum of 4 additional payments, i.e., €100 in case of one-week enrollment and €200 in case of two-week enrollment by the following deadlines: on March 31, 2023, April 30, 2023, and May 31, 2023. The balance must be paid within 15 days after the start of the vacation.
2) Player Clinic and Day Camp: after online registration, a transfer must be made at the same time as registration and no later than the next two working days.
E) REFUNDS:
Whereas it is possible to purchase the “Money Back Guarantee” protection at a cost of €44 per participant and per week of camp, with which you are guaranteed a refund of sums paid for events occurring before and/or during the camp, the conditions of which are described on the “Money Back Guarantee” at www.nbabasketballschoo.it, the standard reimbursement cases to which you are entitled if you do not choose to purchase protection are listed below.
Specifically:
1) In case of renunciation of participation at a Camp:
- Refunds in the event of cancellation within 30 days of the departure date: you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid less the deposit and practice management fee (€250), which will be retained by the organiser.
- Refunds in the event of cancellation within 7 days of departure: you are entitled to a refund of 50% of the amount paid as the balance. The deposit and practice management fee (Euro 250) plus any transport fee (Euro 80 return or Euro 50 one-way) are not refunded.
- (e) No refund is given to those who:
- a. renounces in the 7 days before the departure date
- b. does not show up for departure
- c. withdraws during the course
- d. does not possess physical fitness
- e. is expelled
- f. withdraws due to lack of transfer service
- f) Refunds in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the place of destination or in the immediate vicinity and substantially affecting the performance of the package or transportation to the destination, the participant shall have the right to withdraw from the contract, prior to the start of the Camp, without paying withdrawal fees and to a full refund of the payments made for the package but shall not be entitled to additional compensation.
2) In case of waiver of participation in a Day Camp:
- Refunds in the event of cancellation within 30 days of the departure date: you are entitled to a refund of the amount paid less the deposit and practice management fee (€250), which will be retained by the organiser.
- Refunds in the event of cancellation within 7 days of departure: you are entitled to a refund of 50% of the amount paid as the balance. The deposit and practice management fee (Euro 250) plus any transport fee (Euro 80 return or Euro 50 one-way) are not refunded.
- (e) No refund is given to those who:
- a. renounces in the 7 days before the departure date
- b. does not show up for departure
- c. withdraws during the course

- f) Refunds in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the place of destination or in the immediate vicinity and substantially affecting the performance of the package or transportation to the destination, the participant shall have the right to withdraw from the contract, prior to the start of the Camp, without paying withdrawal fees and to a full refund of the payments made for the package but shall not be entitled to additional compensation.
3) In case of cancellation of participation in a Player Clinic:
- a) Refunds in case of renunciation for health reasons:in case of cancellation due to health problems, objectively documented with a first aid certificate (therefore, any certificate from a specialist or general practitioner will not be sufficient) the participant is entitled, at any time prior to the start of the activity, to a refund of the amount paid.
- b) Refunds in case of cancellation within 7 days from the date of the event: one is entitled to a refund of the amounts paid net of Euro 20 which includes the practice management and the eventual membership fee, which, in any case, are retained by the organization.
- (e) No refund is given to those who:
- a. renounces in the 7 days before the departure date
- b. does not show up at the Player Clinic
- c. withdraws during the course
- d. does not possess physical fitness
- e. is expelled
- f) Refunds in the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances occurring at the place of destination or in the immediate vicinity and substantially affecting the performance of the package or transportation to the destination, the participant shall have the right to withdraw from the contract, prior to the start of the Camp, without paying withdrawal fees and to a full refund of the payments made for the package but shall not be entitled to additional compensation.
F) MINIMUM NUMBER OF PEOPLE REQUIRED: The Organizers reserve the right to withdraw and terminate the contract, before the beginning of the package in case of Summer Camp and of the courses in case of Day Camp and Player Clinic, in case the minimum number of participants is not reached. This right may be exercised no later than twenty days before the start of the Camp, ten days before the start of the Day Camp and forty-eight hours before the start of the Player Clinic.
(G) ORGANIZER’S INSURANCE:
Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. is liable, if any, only and exclusively under the terms of the insurance policies taken out. Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. is covered by a third party liability insurance contract by which it obliges to hold the participant harmless for whatever the participant is required to pay, as a civilly liable party as provided by law, as compensation (principal and interest expenses) for damages involuntarily caused to third parties, for death, personal injury and damage to property, as a result of an accidental event that occurred. Participants and educators are third parties to each other. The existing policy – underwritten by Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. – was contracted with ITAS Assicurazioni with maximum limits of 2,500,000 euros and a fixed deductible of 150 euros. The policy to be referred to during riding is that of the riding school and/or association at which the specific activity is carried out. Similarly, during activities at natatoriums such as swimming pools, the insurance policies to be referred to are those of the facility where such activities take place.
Included in the fee is, for the benefit of each participant, accident insurance (maximum amount Euro 1,000.00 without deductible) covering the participant’s injuries during the activities. Injury is defined as any external traumatic event occurring during activities outside or inside the receptive facility. In addition, there is coverage for death (150,000 euros) and permanent disability (150,000 euros with a fixed deductible of 5 percent). The policy is contracted by Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. also with ITAS Insurance.
H) UNDERWRITING OF INSURANCE: It is the option of the participant to take out a policy covering the costs of unilateral withdrawal from the contract by the participant or the costs of assistance, including return, in case of injury, illness or death during Summer Camp.
I) HEALTH GUIDELINES: The Organizer has established a health protocol called “Health Guidelines during Nba Basketball School Events” in which are summarized the health procedures that are implemented both preemptively and in an enforceable manner where there are incidents that may endanger one or more participants. The parent may make a request, at any time, to view this document by emailing info@championscamp.it.
L) PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA: Registration for an Event through the completion of the online registration form implies the authorization to the processing of personal data, as indicated in the Privacy Policy. We inform you that the data controller is Sport and Fun Holidays s.r.l. and that the data will be handled in compliance with current regulations and in accordance with the principles of fairness, transparency and confidentiality. Authorization may be revoked at any time by written notice to be sent to info@nbabasketballschool.it. .
M) COMPETENCE: For any legal disputes, the Court of Bologna has exclusive jurisdiction
